The course includes learning the AIDA Method, as defined by B&B dental, for GUIDATA implantology. Training modules focus on fully digital workflow development, delving into dedicated surgical protocol, instruments and materials. Importance will be given to implant design software. The student will be able to participate in in-depth studies on IUXTA implants..
PROGRAM FOR DOCTORS/DENTISTS:
DAY 1: Entry.
-Visit to the Company to see the production process up close.
-Surgery and its protocols: Instrumentation and surgical set.
-Practical part in the model: Practice in the prototype model, computer installation and explanation of dental surgery software led by B&B.
DAY 2: Presentation of the Work path, Steps to be followed:
-Diagnosis: Assessment of spaces and dimensions in the oral cavity, examination of the bone, presence of metals in the oral cavity.
-Methods, materials and tools for detection (analog and digital approaches).
-Radiological guide: when it is necessary and how to do it, use and correct positioning, etc.
-Documents and materials necessary for the case: management of forms, permits, filing of files, etc.
-Surgical guide: tools for production and placement.
Analysis and use of software functions: Compatibility and design, analysis and use of software.
DAY 3:
-Software design: Practical training and observation of a clinical case.
DAY 4:
-General review and exam: theoretical questions and practical test.
DAY 5: Optional.
-Clinical cases – presentation.
PROGRAM FOR LABORATORIES (DENTAL TECHNICIANS):
DAY 1: Introduction.
-What is guided surgery (Assisted surgery/ Guidata). Advantages for the Dentist, the laboratory technician and the patient, the differences between the analogue and digital approach.
Presentation of the workflow:
-Methods, materials and tools for creating the model (analog and digital).
-Radiological guide-Construction, use and positioning of radiopaque markers.
-Documentation, correct management and filing of files.
-Adaptation and Planning: Matching and planning of files, analysis and use of the software.
-Surgical guide: tools for production and placement.
-Surgery: Creation of Prosthesis (analog and digital).
DAY 2: Analysis and use of the basic functions of the software, simulation of a clinical case for the creation of the template, the design of the Exocad prosthesis, etc.
DAY 3: Exam, theoretical questions and practical software test.
DAY 4: OPTIONAL – MATERIAL EVALUATION: management of prosthetic components, knowledge of accessories and milling products, communication of services to the dentist, basic training of laboratory staff on digital flow, etc.
