Best seller in Italy and around the world Plastor is applied, without the need to dry out the tooth cavity, as a temporary filling of a cavity, temporary filling over dressings (pulpitis therapy – pulpal devitalization) and during endodontic treatments requiring multiple sessions. Plastor hardens rapidly in contact with saliva, does not disintegrate, resists chewing, is very easy to apply and remove, and is nonheat conducting thus preventing thermal stimulation on the pulp.
Properties: Plastor is neutral and does not alter with usual dressings. All components are well tolerated by the pulp and mucous membranes. Plastor tightly seals the cavity, adheres perfectly to the walls, preventing infiltration. Plastor allows all types of dressings to be applied without them leaking out.
